Characteristics
Iron oxide yellow is an inorganic substance with chemical formula Fe2O3, orange powder. Relative density 2.44～3.60, melting point 350～400℃. Insoluble in water, alcohol, soluble in acid. The powder is fine and is crystallized iron oxide hydrate. Due to different production methods and operating conditions, the degree of hydration is different, the crystal structure and physical properties are very different. Good coloring power, covering power, light resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, heat resistance.
